Bon Accord Photo Club

A Good Idea? by admin

We hosting can be pretty expensive if you need a good chunk of space. So if you're a photographer wanting to showcase your large-scale high-resolution photos you're going to need a good memory allowance, and well, the costs can rack up.

We at the Bon Accord Photo Club are thinking of getting our own dedicated hosting server set up to host all of our individual photography profiles and portfolio sites, without having to worry so much about hosting, capacity, security, and so on.

We will have much more freedom when it comes to capacity and quality of our content, and the hosting server will be dedicated, which means it will be used solely by us and not shared by anyone else. If there are enough of us to spread the costs it'll be well worth it.

CAPTAIN AMERICA IN MANCHESTER by admin

The set for Captain America has come to Manchester. Set makers have turned the Northern Quarter into 1920’s America, which looks amazing. The producers choose Manchester of it’s has pre-war architecture and towering buildings. The transformation of the steer has seen fake shop fronts being built on the side of the buildings. I can’t wait to see the film now!
